Pathways Mentoring program explained

Toastmasters Pathways programs bring more emphasis on mentoring. It is

  • not a path
  • has one project of it required in Every path
  • Earns an educational award PWMENTORPGM which does not count towards club DCP credit

There are 6 parts to the Pathways mentoring program

  1. Introduction to Toastmasters Mentoring – required in Level 2 of EVRY path (yes, you will do it every tie you do a new path) a 5-7 minute speech about a time when you were a protégé.  Very specific content is specified.
  2. “Prepare to Mentor” – a project with no speech required
  3. Mentoring – being a mentor to a Toastmasters member for less than 3 months long + a 5-7 minute speech about that experience
  4. Advanced Mentoring – being a mentor to anyone (not required to be a Toastmasters member) for 6 months + a 5-7 minute speech about that experience
